This is usually the face we are greeted with each morning. You can tell he's quite proud of himself!
Braxton:
Weight: 21 lbs 7 oz -- 65%
Height: 28 1/2 " -- 60%
Head: 18 3/4 -- 90%
I just LOVE his cheeks, they look like a little bull dog in the pic above!
"So what?"
"Come and get me..."
Okay, so I know I've been slacking in the blog department. Our Internet seems to have vanished! Forgive me, these pictures are over a month old, but I'm sure you'll still like to look at them the same.
Braxton seems to grow every day. He loves doing new things, recently he's learned to cruise. He is now using his new found activity, cruising, as his main mode of transportation. He likes to cruise along the couch, the walls, the crib, the coffee table, the dining chairs... basically anything he can pull himself up onto is used as a support for his practice in walking.
Although our little baby was never too interested in crawling on his hands and knees, and still isn't to keen on this mode of transportation, he has discovered a new love in walking-- I'm sure it has to do with the fact that he's got an older brother who's constantly running around and he keeps looking at him like: "How does he DO that?!"
Braxton finally is tolerating fruit! He used to hate it and now he's warming up to the idea of the world of food outside of vegetables! He loves bananas, applesauce, pears, and sometimes mango's. Speaking of food, since Braxton's last doctor appointment he was okay-ed to eat almost everything: cheese, yogurt, meat, fruits, veggies etc. Braxton has seems to be under the impression that whatever mom has on her plate during dinner time is equally his. I spend most of my time feeding him MY food. I try to cut up pieces for him to eat on his high chair tray, but he thinks I'm trying to give him something else. Silly boy!
Braxton loves to clap, play peek a boo, army crawl, pull up on things, hit the TV (since it's the perfect height for him on our coffee table), play with anything that Quincy has-- take things away from Quincy, this is TOO funny to see, bath time.... he especially loves hearing the water running and comes crawling (army style) down the hallway in a rush so he can stand up alongside the tub and try and jump in. Braxton still loves to sing, and will calm down most of the time when I sing to him, Quincy was NEVER like this.
Each day our little B's personality shows through a little more. I can't wait to see what a great kid he'll become!
