It's that time of year again.... the weather is transitioning from cold rain and wind to cool breezes and clouds.
Spring is in the air.
The daffodils are in full bloom.
The plum trees are full of pink blossoms.
There are tiny green buds poking out from the maple tree branches.
I love this time of year with all that it brings... the ONLY thing I don't care for is the flu! Our boys have caught the flu bug and those other late winter/early spring bugs that are floating around this time of year. Every one of you parents knows what I'm talking about.... they advise you to keep your sick children home or out of nursery, and yet there's still that one snotty nosed kid who's coughing on your kid.
I'm not judging, but lets just say we could have done with a little less sharing of his icky germs. :) Needless to say, after constantly wiping noses, covering coughing mouths, and suppressing fevers that threaten to increase... spending a full 2 weeks of fighting this bug off... we are finally near the end of it!
My poor little boys have been troopers, and unfortunately Braxton is still sporting the booger bubbles on occasion, But when all is said and done and I'm glad they can have moments like this:
