I've been working on things like this: It's been a nice creative outlet for me to work a couple of days a week, not to mention it's nice to have a little paycheck, and gain some more work experience.
I like in #1) the fringy-fernlike stuff (what is that stuff??) in #2) The shape of the arrangement in #3) I LOVE those curling little things that look like something from a Dr. Suess book and in #4) Good vivid color choices.
Don't you like how I'm calling everything "THINGYS" cuz' I'm not a Horticulture major???
You've always had natural ability Sister. Your work is beautiful. Good job. =)
I'm not sure what fern like stuff you're talking about, the spikey stuff or the feathery greenery. Either way it's protea, a tropical green.
Those Dr. Seuss curling 'things' are actually fern curls. They are what ferns look like before the actual leaf emerges. Cool huh? Up close they look like chocolate and good enough to eat, too bad they're not.

Thanks mom.
I love your new background! And your flowers!--what a blessing to do a little something you love AND get paid for it!
