Yesterday we decided to take advangtage of the nice weather--finally! We started the day off with a bath for Quincy. We put bubbles in it and all his bath toys. He even tried out his new tugboat from Grammie and Grandpa Loren. He has recently become very enthusiastic about bathtimes. Notice the excitement in his face. Also note the eating of the bubbles. :)
After Quincy got a bath we decided to go out to lunch a place called the Flying Pie Pizzaria. We had never been there before and Tyler always wanted to go for lunch since they sell pizza by the slice. Two weeks ago Quincy figured out how to suck out of a straw-- with the help of Jamba Juice smoothies. Here he's drinking the lemon water.
Quincy also got to try some pizza bread sticks. He was really excited about it and practically screaming for more when we weren't paying close enough attention to him.
To conclude our fun day we spent a couple hours at the Julia Davis Park. We walked all around it. Before we started our walk Quincy ate his lunch in his stroller by the Boise River. He had his lemon water to wash down his food. He thinks he's such a big boy and so he wanted to hold the drink by himself. All seemed to be going well until I noticed he was covered in water. Apparently he had tipped the cup a little too far up and it leaked out the lid. Luckily it was a hot day and he dried off. After he ate his lunch we walked to the geese pond. Quincy loved it, he walked around with Tyler and tried to "catch" them. To his displeasure they kept moving when he tried to get close. He still had fun though. After we chased geese, we went to the play ground and Quincy swung on the swings. We concluded our fun afternoon taking a walk along the greenbelt. It was so nice to get out in the warm weather.
