We didn't do anything overally exciting for the Fourth, with Zayden being just three months we wanted to take it easy. This was hard on our older boys as they know what fireworks are and desperately wanted to go see some. We compromised with watching them on TV, letting stay up late eatng popcorn and drinking rootbeer floats. They were happy about this.
The weekend following the fourth we went to Eagle Fern park, a great shady park with lots of trails to explore.
We took another day on Tyler's week off to go play in the Sellwood pool. By far one of the best outdoor pools for little kids in Portland. Our boys LOVE it!
One of the lifegaurds made me put that orange bracelet on Z to show that he wasn't allowed to swim alone... I thougt it was funny-- as if I'd let my three month old baby swim alone!
