Last month Quincy went to the dentist for the first time... I thought he might be a little nervous so I prepared him by telling him what they were going to do. He did such a great job. He was a little shy at first, but soon warmed up to the sweet hygienist-- who was SUPER nice.
She first started by having him choose a new toothbrush, then she brushed him teeth with it. After they were done brushing with the regular toothbrush she told him that she was going to brush with a special toothbrush which she showed him and told him it felt kinda like a 'tickle brush'. He thought that was funny. After brushing his teeth with the electrical toothbrush he said his favorite part was the 'thing that sucks out your spit'. He thought it was SO cool.
When he was all done he got TWO stickers and picked out a prize (a little baseball). Needless to say his first visit was a success
