Mother's Day

Mother's Day has been pretty great so far... although it had a bit of a rough start. Braxton woke up at 7:00AM and was quietly working on his Mother's Day gift to me: covering all our furniture, windows, mirrors, and table in Vaseline. It was so thoughtful of him! Church was great... Quincy did a great job singing! Then we came home and I requested that we take a picture all together. Can you believe it? All my boys are not only looking at the camera, they are even SMILING! It is a Mother's Day miracle!
I'm so thankful to have the opportunity to be a mother here on Earth and am so grateful for the wonderful examples of what REAL mother is that I grew up with, not only from my own mother, but friends as well as Grandmothers, and Aunts. I am truly blessed with three wonderful boys-- that perhaps are just a tiny bit naughty every now and then-- that's to be expected, right?

Fun at the Park

Who couldn't love the PNW on days like this one? The weather has been beautiful and we are so happy to be able to enjoy it with our kids at the park. They could seriously live there!

Little Family "Date": Miniature Golfing

We braved a lil family outing when the weather got nice. When Z was about 2 1/2 weeks old we decided to take the family miniature golfing. It was a bit chaotic, but we all had fun and soaked in some seriously much needed vitamin D!

Day at the Temple:

So happy that I could be there when my youngest brother Karter went through the temple for the first time. Many thanks to my sister, Emy for watching Zayden so I could go in and the other great friends I have who volunteered to babysit the older boys for me. It was a very special day.

He leaves on his mission May 23rd to the Spanish speaking Vera Cruz, Mexico Mission. He can't wait, and neither can we.

So proud of you kar kar! :)

Privledges of being a parent:

Taking embarrassing pictures of your kids!
:)
Due to this nursing mom I think Braxton has found a certain sort of obsession with his own nipples... it's disturbing and hilarious at the same time. Personally I think these pictures should be in his wedding slide show!

Post bath time workout...

Going up...
 up....
 and up...
 and....down!

Zayden's First Bath

I actually gave Zayden his first bath when he was 10 days old (by myself... with all three of my kids-- talk about crazy!) Q and B wanted to "help" so much and so while in the picture above Z is looking calm and enjoying his bathtime... most of the bath consisted of something more like the two pictures below...

Had it been a little quieter and less "helping hands" in the tub I think he might have actually enjoyed it!

Pee-wee football.... hoemamde style

I love that my boys are starting to use their creativity and imaginations. They wanted to play football one day and were sad that they didn't have helmets to wear. Quincy came up with this solution: their toy baskets emptied and worn on their heads. It was too cute and funny to pass up on snapping a few pictures of them!

Love some kisses from my baby Z!

Baby Z and Mama

Every day my little baby Zayden is changing... right before my eyes. He is growing like crazy -- thanks to the daily 2 hour feedings and lots of sleeping-- and some days he's more alert than ever. These pictures are from weeks one through two.
