The Lindquist Family Reunion

After 4.5 hours in the car at night.... we made it to my Aunt Renee's (my dad's only sister) house. We slept in a tent, had lots of fun eating good food, playing in the pool, taking the kids to see the farm animals, riding horses and four wheelers, telling stories about our beloved Grandpa Lyle, who passed away in 2007, and getting to know our extended family just a little better.
It was a great Reunion!
At first they were eager to go swimming...
Then they got nervous.
Choke hold on Grandpa Loren.
Quincy had to get several pep talks...
The more my dad and his siblings get older the more alike I think they look.
 My Uncle Neil.
The only way I can B to smile like this is by telling him to say Stinky Cheese.
What a goof.
I think this picture is hilarious, notice how happy Q looks. We tried really hard to get him to become comfortable in the pool, but clearly it's going to take more than a couple of hours.
And notice the death grip on Grandpa Loren's neck and he's holding his breath...
Uncle Scott and Aunt Kelli entertaining the little ones...
More happy faces in the pool. Ha ha ha
At least Zee zee loved it.
The Lyle and Rena Lindquist kids.
Top clockwise: John, Renee, Loren, Neil, Rena, and Rick.
The whole Lindquist gang that was able to make it....
There are so many little ones now!
Our attempt at getting a family shot, clearly everyone was done taking pictures....
--Lindquist Cousins--
Clockwise from the top:
Makayla, Dillion, John John, Me, Jessica, Seth, Scott, Karter, Spencer, and Lance.
I sure to have some great memories of growing up with these guys and visiting 'the farm' every summer.

They say that Growing up is....

Hard to do. And in case you were wondering it's even harder when you're the littlest of boy of 3 boys. Poor Zee zee is always trying to play catch up with his brothers. He recently learned, by himself, to climb on the chairs. I'm not thrilled with this new discovery, but he is. Just look at his face....
"Hey Quincy, did you see me climb on this chair all by MYSELF?
Yeah.
Pretty cool stuff.
Now how bout you hand me some of those Legos, I know they'll fit perfectly in my mouth!"
The other day he came out with this hat he had put on himself, and was trying to "read" me that book.
Yes.
My little Zayden is quite anxious to grow up to be just like his big brothers....

Side note about the candles.... since we sang to him outside and there was a light breeze, I attempted to light the candles like 3 times and they kept getting blown out. Finally I got one lit, I told him to pretend they were all lit, we sang really quick and he blew the ONE out.
