A weekend with Aunt Kelly:

We were lucky to have Kelly visit us a couple of weeks ago. She got to our house late on a Wednesday night and stayed at our house until Friday afternoon. Quincy of course was spoiled because who got up early and took him out of his crib when he was fussing? Aunt Kelly. Who fed him breakfast and let him eat half her cereal? Aunt Kelly. Who took him for a jog with his mom and pushed him in the jogger stroller? Aunt Kelly. (Which might I add, killed me... I'm not in such great shape for running as Kelly is-- but on a positive note it was nice to run with someone else, even if she totally can kick my butt and not even break a sweat.) Who took him outside to play? Aunt Kelly. Who gave him all her undivided attention? Aunt Kelly.

Needless to say, Quincy had a fun time with Aunt Kelly staying at our house. And we had fun with her too. When Kelly visited, we got to meet her boyfriend (I think I'm allowed to say this) Mike. Tyler and I know of him, as he also attended BYUI. It was nice to formally meet him though. He and Tyler had a lot in common and it was fun "double dating" with Kelly and Mike. Oh and I wanted to say thanks to Kelly for making sure I wasn't the only one watching 'Man of The Year' who had to read the subtitles.

We also had the pleasure of seeing Tyler's parents on Thursday night who took us to Red Robin for dinner, and traditionally they treated us for a dozen Krispe Kreme doughnuts afterwards. They were really sad to leave our house, well really sad to leave Quincy-- though Tyler and I would like to think they were sad to leave us to, but I'm sure we know the REAL truth--. It was really nice to see them and fun to go out with the family. We are so spoiled having them as our personal butcher.... they always bring us meat when they come, lucky us!! Fortunately, we were able to contribute to the diner tab with our Red Robin coupons we had. Yay!

All in all, it was a fun weekend!
