Mother's Day

(First thing in the morning, snuggling with my boys.)

I consider myself extremely lucky to be the mama of these three handsome, intelligent, loving, energetic, imaginative, mischievous boys. This year Mother's Day was a little  hectic... we drove home late Saturday night after Scott and Kelli's reception in Prosser,WA and didn't get home until close to 1:00AM. Tyler was kind enough to make me french toast for breakfast and helped get the boys ready for church. It was nice to just sit back on the couch and relax all morning while he my usual Sunday morning duties. :) I think I ended up making something for dinner (having 2:00PM church and not getting home until dinner time usually results in crabby starving kids when we get home at 5:00PM) he did, however take care of the kids while I made dinner and made sure to clean up. Perhaps next year we won't have just got in the door and things won't be so crazy.

It was still a pleasant Mother's Day.

(Don't you love B's face? This is what happens every Sunday bc we have to wake him up to leave for church)

YES, I love the look on B face. I found out, while at Scott and Kellie's wedding, that B does NOT like is picture taken.

The above was sent by Big Vicky. Noticed my name isn't listed, instead it says BurchBox, which is Andy Burch's blog name. Not sure why this happens, other than I am part of his blog.

Thanks for clarifying, as I was just thinking 'who's burchbox?' ha ha. B isn't really a poser for the camera like Q and Z, it's rare to catch an authentic smile out of him. In that bottom picture we had just woken him up from a nap and he wasn't happy about it. He likes to wake up on his own terms. :)
