Christmas came early... for the boys anyways.

We were planning on buying the boys bunk beds early next year before little Pula gets here. My parents decided to surprise us by giving us some bunk beds before Christmas as their gift. It was SO generous and nice of them. The boys have not had as much fun in a long time as they have playing or sleeping in their new bunk beds.
Grandpa Loren came to help set them up for us. He told the boys, "No playing in my tool bucket." Look where they're playing?

 Guilty.

I guess Grandpa must be a pushover when it comes to his grandkids... cuz he wasn't too mad at them. Even though they were not obeying.
They were so curious as to what was going on. They simply HAD to be part of every step.
Since Tyler was at work... I got rigged into helping set it up, while Grammie supervised the boys.
Supervised the boys playing in the tools that is. Grammie's a pushover too. :)

Look Braxton's trying to "help" by "fixing" the CD player. Awesome.
 Getting closer.

The boys had lots of fun (under Grammie's supervision) playing with the Styrofoam in the hallway. I had lots of fun vacuuming it all up.
 Earnestly at work destroying things.
Putting the trundle part together. The instructions consisted of 2 pages with a total of 4 pictures and NO written explainations. It was a little challenging, but Grandpa and I managed to figure it out.
Quincy helping by studying the directions.
Testing out their new trundle bed.

 Nighty Night!

Or maybe we'll wrestle instead of sleep....

Quincy was a little nervous about climbing up the ladder at first.
Braxton wasn't. He just climbed right up.
Quincy wasn't so scared after he saw B do it.
King of the top bunk. He loves it. It's like his personal fort up there.
 Clearly Braxton loves it too.
Thanks for the new Christmas present Grammie and Grandpa! The boys LOVE it.
New bunk beds prooves to make for a perfect spot to snuggle up and read some books.

 All my sweet boys.

The boys love their new beds... and I do too. :)

Cute! We are doing the same thing for Christmas too. Malia is going to be so excited! I was totally going to do the name thing as well! Funny! Now I just need to find sheets and stuff...

You know what's funny Hoku, is that by the time we had B they discontinued making the wood alaphabet I got for Q's name, so part of Braxton's name is just on carboard and painted to match. It's hard to tell the difference and much cheaper. (I used the boxes from diapers, since they are thick. Good luck!)

PS - Grammie was never 'officially' given the duty of any supervision. My ACTUAL "Official" job is *F*U*N*!

Officially,
Grammie
