Off to Idaho we Go!

Saturday the 16th we got up extra early (for the weekend anyways) and left for Fruitland to be with Tyler's family over Christmas. It's not exactly the MOST fun drive when you have little restless kids, but we managed okay for the 7 hour drive.
The boys spent the beginning of the trip by reading books.
I love that Braxton is so engrossed in that Cars book and he can't read a single word. He's just too cute.
Quincy was equally into his Dinosaurs book.
Ha ha... I especially love this picture because Braxton saw me taking a picture of him and and "tzzz"-- cheese. He then gave me his best toothy smile. It is adorable.
The books only lasted so long before they ended up getting bored... since we have made this trip several times now, we come prepared. We bring Tyler's old laptop (which has been stripped of everything except for the movie player) and let the boys watch DVD's in the back. These next few pictures of them are when they were watching the Cars movie (B's personal favorite). Look at how happy they are.
Look at those serious faces... "Uh Oh"

After stuffing in three suitcases, a play pen, warm coats, tons of gifts, blankets, pillows, toys, books, movies, and snacks into our car... we made it! It was a long drive, but we did. And Braxton's happy face in the picture above says it all. We are glad to be with family. :)
