TO WALK OR NOT TO WALK...

...That is Quincy's everyday question. He is getting better about walking, but hasn't quite learned to trust himself about doing it all on his own. He will take about 4 or 5 steps (if we're lucky) before he realizes that he's not holding onto anything or we're not holding onto him before sheer panic kicks in. It really is panic to-- he gets this look like he's trying to walk on a tightrope and just noticed that there's no net. lol

I'm sure he'll be figuring it out soon though. We tried to capture some of this 'walking' for those of you who can't see it yet. :) Hope you enjoy!

good job quincy. savannah has just started to stand for a few seconds at a time by herself. she does the same thing that quincy tried to do at the begining of the video, she always wants to fall to her knees to crawl and then pull herelf up when she gets there. i don't know how i feel about walking. on the one hand, its great when they reach a new milestone, on the other hand, yikes..so, so much more trouble!

Agreed! We're excited also, but scared at the same time. Oh well, it's not like we can keep him on all floors for his whole life. OUr parents did it, I'm sure we'll get through it too.

Dude I am so excited to come see him walk in person!!!

Oh and good luck beating Tyler, you know how competitive the Howard side is.....he won't lose no matter how out of shape he is:)
